Ruby established Believe and Achieve Paediatric Therapy in 2018 with the desire to walk alongside families as they navigate through their child's therapy journeys.
Ruby chose occupational therapy after seeing how fun and empowering occupational therapy is. This career choice is close to Ruby's heart, as both her younger brothers are Autistic. They were her inspiration to become an occupational therapist and help other families like hers.
Ruby is passionate about family-centred and culturally appropriate practice. Ruby has worked alongside neurodivergent children and parents, children with developmental delays, children and families with a history of trauma, children living in out of home care, sensory processing disorders, Down's syndrome and cerebral palsy.
Ruby is a member of Indigenous Allied Health Australia (IAHA) and is an Indigenous therapist from the Yuin Nation. She is passionate about providing culturally safe practices with all families she connects with; meeting children and families where they are at and working collaboratively and respectfully to improve health and wellbeing outcomes.
Ruby graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Health Science/Master of Occupational Therapy (BHSc, MOT) in 2017.
Ruby is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
