Accessing Our Services

We can see children with:

  • Self managed NDIS funds
  • Plan managed NDIS funds
  • Private funding

Please note, we do not see children with "agency managed" NDIS funds.

Funding

The NDIS helps people who have a disability access therapies and supports.

If your child does not have NDIS funding and you believe your child is eligible for an NDIS funding package, please contact the NDIS directly to commence the application process.

More information about how to apply for the NDIS can be found here:

https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/how-apply

Please note, we are unable to see children who have agency managed NDIS funds.

We are able to service children who have self managed and plan managed NDIS funding.

In order to claim a Medicare rebate, you will need a referral from your GP or paediatrician. Ask your doctor about eligibility and the appropriate referral for your child.

Believe and Achieve Paediatric Therapy is unable to process Medicare rebates on your behalf.  You can submit a Medicare claim online using either your Medicare online account through myGov or the Express Plus Medicare mobile app.

Private health insurance funds can cover occupational therapy if it is included as a comprehensive extra or ancillary option. Private health funds typically cover a portion of the cost.

Believe and Achieve Paediatric Therapy is unable to process private health fund claims on your behalf. We require you to settle the account in full and claim your rebate via your private health insurance provider.
