A yarning circle is the practice of speaking and listening from the heart.
It is a place to speak, listen, collaborate, support and connect.
Yarning circles have been used by Indigenous people from around the world for many years to learn from a collaborative group, build respectful relationships, and to preserve and pass on knowledge.
The Yarning Circle is a group for parents and carers of children with a disability.
The Yarning Circle is facilitated by occupational therapist, Ruby Challita.
The Yarning Circle is a place to share and listen from the heart, to connect with others who share a similar journey and to equip you with the knowledge and support network needed to raise a child with a disability.
Currently our support group is not running. Please contact us to register your interest.
